You can collect the card in person, by appointment, or it can be sent to you by registered mail. You will bear the cost of this yourself, payable at the time of application. It is not necessary to provide a stamped envelope yourself.

The card must be collected from the embassy within 3 months of arrival. Afterwards, it will be destroyed.

Period of validity

Service “Hello parents”

The Kids-ID includes a phone number (+32 78 150350), which can be reached 24/7.

If the child gets lost and carries his Kids-ID, any person who finds him can easily contact his parents or confidants thanks to a cascading system of phone numbers activated by the parents.
